This fund directs the donor’s income in perpetuity to one or more charities he/she identifies.

  • Dr. Harry Roberts Fund - set up by Edward, Douglas and Peter Roberts to commemorate their father, Dr. Harry Roberts, a well-known physician in Newfoundland and Labrador who died in 2004. The returns are being used  to fund a competition involving innovative projects in the areas of fitness/wellness/ health/physical education generated by K-12 students
  • Dr. Peter Roberts Memorial Fund to commemorate the founding chairperson of the CFNL, Dr. Peter Roberts. The fund will be used to support communities across the province where the need is greatest.
  • Cy Mills Scholarship Fund - set up by friends of the late Cy Mills to fund an annual scholarship for 1 boy and 1 girl at the St. John’s Boys and Girls Club
  • Hon. Fabian O’Dea Fund - set up by the family of the former lieutenant governor to carry out his bequests to a number of religious, educational and handicapped institutions
  • F. Burnham and Mary Gill Fund - set up by Elinor Gill Racliffe in the memory of her parents.  The fund will support project focusing on Newfoundland and Labrador studies including historical and genealogical initiatives.
  • Anthony Insurance Incorporated Fund - for safety and prevention initiatives in Newfoundland and Labrador
  • Furlong Family Scholarship Fund - set up by the Furlong family  to provide a scholarship for a level III student from Corner Brook and surrounding areas
  • Joseph & Emma Taylor Memorial Scholarship Fund - for a level III student of Bonne Bay Academy on the Northern Peninsula
  • Terry M. Carlson Scholarship Fund - set up to assist a client of the John Howard Society with educational and social programs
  • James Youden Educational Fund- to support a recently graduated high school student from a rural and remote community in NL who is attending College.
  • Dr. Anna Templeton Award Fund - to further or upgrade the education or skills of the Awardee(s). The Award is open to persons who are permanent residents of Newfoundland and Labrador and are continuing their education beyond the first year of their training at a craft school.
