This fund has awarded grants to the following local registered charities:

• The Alzheimer Society of Newfoundland and Labrador for materials for resource centres around the province to help families living with the disease.
  
  
• The Burin Peninsula Brighter Futures Inc. to support programs such as their Healthy Baby Clubs and resource centres that focus on the needs of children of low-income families.
  
  
• The Buckmaster’s Circle Community Centre to assist with a Parenting Power program that is dedicated to fostering confident and happy parents by developing skills that make parenting easier.
  
  
• The Boys and Girls Clubs of NL to fund Healthy Baby Programs in Wabana, Upper Island Cove, Gander, Norris Arm, Botwood, Buchans, St. Anthony and St. John's.
  
  
• The Labrador Creative Arts Festival to support the editing, reproduction and distribution of a film about the festival.
  
  
• Turks Gut Conservation Inc.to fund acting lessons, homework support, music lessons, games, crafts, and heritage lessons for local children.
  
  
• Future SET (Future Scientists, Engineers and Technologists) to provide eight bursaries for children of low-income families to attend Future SET. This program aims to build confidence among children and encourages them to pursue and enjoy science.
  
  
• The Englee Youth Centre to fund after-school homework sessions, babysitting courses and healthy living activities in the fitness centre.
  
  
• The South Brook Recreation Committee to support tutoring programs for students and provide access to computers to children with no access.
  
  
• Choices for Youth to fund a cooking program for street kids teaches cooking skills, effective budgeting, nutrition and hygiene while gaining valuable employment skills such as time management, team work, responsibility and commitment.
  
  
• Junior Achievement of Newfoundland and Labrador to fund day-long programs in Gros Morne and White Bay, for successful female entrepreneurs to meet and motivate/mentor young women.
  
  
• Nain's Torngasok Cultural Centre to assist with re-printing of the children's book, "Anguti's Amulet" in English and Inuktitut, an important tool for teaching cultural history, archaeology and language. Most of the first edition copies were destroyed in a fire in the Centre in March 2005.
  
  
• The Protected Areas Association to organize a series of capacity building workshops for non-profits across the province. These workshops will provide high quality learning opportunities at a reasonable price to help improve project management with non-profits.
  
  
• The Virginia Park Community Centre to provide a safe after-school place.
  
  
• Branch’s Singing Kitchen to subsidize meal preparation for low-income families followed by a sharing circle in which residents help to keeping the culture of the community alive by sharing songs, stories, jokes and recipes.
  
  
• The Labrador Friendship Centre in Happy Valley-Goose Bay for a series on food preparation, food preservation and traditional cooking for Aboriginals and non-Aboriginals.
  
  
• The Northshore Early Childhood Association in Corner Brook for a program to help families in western Newfoundland become more innovative with their food budget while eating healthy and nutritious meals.
  
  
• The Seniors Resource Centre for its grocery busing program for seniors in the St. John’s area.
  
  
• REAL Program to assist underprivileged youth travel to activities.
  
  
• National Cancer Treatment & Research Foundation to allow volunteer drivers in Grand Falls-Windsor transport cancer patients to appointments.
  
  
• Victorian Order of Nurses for an adult day program to assist seniors traveling to various programs.
  
  
• Calypso Foundation to assist transportation of developmental disabled participants to programs.
